The mission of the Houston Association of Delphi Professionals is to provide a forum for computer programming professionals to discuss topics relevant to developing software for commercial purposes; hearing local success stories implementing new technology; and promoting the use of innovative solutions.

HADP is a non-profit organization that operates via a Board  and Volunteers.  If you wish to volunteer please contact one of the board members.

When did HADP Start?

The first HADP steering committee convened in November 1995.  This group was assembled from an email stream.  Our first physical meeting occurred on January 30, 1996.

Why Does HADP Exist?

HADP was started so that people who wanted to develop in Borland's Delphi language would be able to talk to others locally.  Our main objective is to provide a forum to discuss topics relevant to Delphi, hear local success stories and promote the use of Delphi as a development environment.

Where/when Does HADP Meet?

Meetings are usually held on the 4th Tuesday of each monthd at 7:00 P.M.   at the University  of Houston Hilton Hotel,, Room 279  4800 Calhoun, Houston, TX .

Who Would Want To Join?

If you develop software and you are using or want to use Delphi in your development environment, then you should look into joining HADP.

What are the Benefits of Membership?

First of all, the main benefit will be talking to real faces about development issues.  Networking with others and sharing ideas will give you a better perspective on Delphi development. Second, you will get a monthly dosage of new information about new components and successful development practices. A newsletter will be generated as well as a Web environment to disseminate the HADP information. Book reviews and Borland announcements/enhancements will be discussed.

How do I Join?

Come to one of our meetings and fill out a membership form.  Individual membership is $60/Yr. Corporate sponsor membership is $150/Yr.  The corporate sponsor membership supports 3 employees with any additional employees added at $50 each.
